“Captain America” is one of the reference players in the padel world. Being diagnosed with diabetes as a child didn’t prevent him from becoming one of the best. He’s considered an idol of the fight against diabetes in the world of padel and of sport in general. Alex was always drawing on his image to raise awareness, which was surely an extra motivation to perform well in high-level tournaments.
