Overview

Introducing the second generation of the Phantom 93P (14x18). As the modern successor to Prince's legendary POG Mid and Tour Diablo Mid, this stick packs a surgical 600cm² head and classic box beam. Compared to the 93P (18x20), this racket has a more powerful and spin-friendly string pattern, making it better suited to explosive mechanics of the modern game. For 2020 the 93P (14x18) gets updated with an Anti-Torsion System, which enhances Prince's original Textreme technology by combining Textreme and Twaron in the throat and upper hoop. The result is greater stability and power higher in the string bed where many competing rackets tend to feel hollow and dead. This stick also features a CTS Beam, which goes from a buttery thin 16.5mm shaft to 20.5mm at the tip. From the baseline the 93P (14x18) delivers a wonderfully solid and comfortable feel. At 343 grams strung and boasting a near 330-RDC swingweight, this racket does a good job absorbing and redirecting the pace of a big hitting opponent. Players who are looking to hit high arching topspin or low skidding slice will love this racket's open 14x18 string pattern. At net the 93P feels wonderfully sold at impact, and it delivers easier depth than its 18x20 sibling while still delivering impressive touch. This stick also shines on serve where there is enough spin, pop and precision to swing big and take chances. With some incremental tweaks to the feel, Prince has created a very solid update to one of the games most unique player's rackets. Experienced ball strikers looking for a midsize scalpel with outstanding feel will love this one.
